Sketch comedies are always my favorite, you don't have to recap the story cos there isn't one and the skits are short and sweet. From down under there's Comedy Inc., the reruns of which come on Zee Cafe which almost always has me in splits. And a recurring skit that is funny as hell is Blokeman versus Metrosexual Man, two diametrically opposite superheroes, in tights. Blokeman's the old stereotypical, pot-bellied superhero who sits on his behind all day sipping brewskis whereas the new age, clean shaven Metrosexual Man charms his way through with his smart looks and saving the day while our Blokeman just stands there arguing with the cops.
In this particular skit, MSM steals the thunder from Blokeman and also his girlfriend, Wondermoll. All in a day's work for our own superheroes. Enjoy!
Intrepid Vividity!

First Post
Let me kick off this blog with a song that's been playing aloud in my mind for days.
Usually I don't like boy bands but then this is after Rob went solo, so here goes, simple but meaningful lyrics.
Betterman by Robbie Williams
The live version is so much better somehow.
Send someone to love me
I need to rest in arms
Keep me safe from harm
In pouring rain
Give me endless summer
Lord I fear the cold
Feel I'm getting old
Before my time
As my soul heals the shame
I will grow through this pain
Lord I'm doing all I can
To be a better man
Go easy on my conscience
'Cause it's not my fault
I know I've been taught
To take the blame
Rest assured my angels
Will catch my tears
Walk me out of here
I'm in pain
As my soul heals the shame
I will grow through this pain
Lord I'm doing all I can
To be a better man
Once you've found that lover
You're homeward bound
Love is all around
Love is all around
I know some have fallen
On stony ground
But Love is all around
Send someone to love me
I need to rest in arms
Keep me safe from harm
In pouring rain
Give me endless summer
Lord I fear the cold
Feel I'm getting old
Before my time
As my soul heals the shame
I will grow through this pain
Lord I'm doin' all I can
To be a better man.
